The Hill Country Disabled Group is a non-profit initiative managed by three dynamic and empowered members of the disabled community in the District of Badulla in Sri Lanka.
Disabled people in the Hill Country of Sri Lanka remain unrepresented and live in severe poverty-stricken, isolated conditions, without proper medical care, educational opportunities or interaction with the outside world.
The Hill Country Disabled Group leverages the ICT skills and experience of the Koslanda Telecentre's staff who are all disabled themselves, as well as the ICT facilities of other participating Nanasalas.
